Many of you may have gotten the connection right away, but others may be wondering, why Spam?
It's easy. Spam is made by Hormel. My last name is Hormel. And, yes, I actually do eat Spam.
In fact on a trip to Hawaii, a state with like the highest per person Spam consumption, my mother and I were on a mission to eat Spam at a restaurant. We finally found a dinner where we had spectacular eggs, rice and Spam. Yum.
If you notice the Spam cans on this page, they feature a Hawaiian specialty Spam musubi. We didn't have this but saw it a few stores.
Remember: Spam -- it's not just annoying email.
